# How much will I get paid?

Your payout is the invoice amount minus the Useme service fee. Currency conversion and bank fees can lower the amount you get. Below, we explain how to check how much will reach your account.

### How to use the calculator

You can always use the [calculator](https://useme.com/en/dashboard/calculator/) in your profile to estimate your payout.

#### **Calculator fields**

- "You get" – **the payout that reaches your account.**
- "Your client pays" – **the net amount on your client's invoice.**
- Arrow switch: click it to swap the "You get" and "Your client pays" fields.

#### **Example calculations**

If you agree with your client on a **payout** of $1,000, set up the calculator so the "You get" field is on the left. Enter $1,000.

If you agree with your client on an **invoice** for $1,000, set up the calculator so the "Your client pays" field is on the left. Enter $1,000.

### Currency conversion costs and bank fees

#### **Currency conversion**

If your payout currency is different from your invoice currency, your payout goes through currency conversion. This can affect the final amount you get.

For bank accounts, we always send your payout in the **currency of the country of your account**. For example, if you have a USD account at a bank in Germany, we send you EUR. Your bank then converts the money to USD. This can come with extra costs.

#### **USD payouts**

For USD payouts, it's best to add a bank account registered in the US or a Wise account.

#### **Bank fees**

The banks involved in the transfer may charge extra fees. These fees lower your payout.

**There won't be any extra bank fees if you:**

- invoice in PLN and get paid to a Polish account in PLN
- invoice in EUR and get paid to a SEPA account in EUR

Otherwise, bank fees may apply.
