# How to check the status of my payment

Only registered users can check the status of their deals with freelancers in their Useme account. [See how to create an account in Useme](https://help.useme.com/en/how-to-create-a-useme-account?hsLang=en).

To check the payment status:

1. [Log in](https://useme.com/en/users/login/) to your Useme account
2. From the left-side menu, select *Deals*
3. Each deal is displayed as a card with a status at the top.

However, no matter if you have an account or not, **we’ll keep you informed by email** at every stage of your transaction.
