How to create an account on Useme

This article is for users who have never paid a freelancer through Useme before. If you’ve already paid a freelancer at least once through Useme but don’t have an active account yet, check this article: How to activate a client account on Useme?

What do you need to create an account on Useme?

When you pay a freelancer through our platform, we invoice you for their work. To do this, we need your invoicing details:

  • For personal accounts – your name and address.
  • For business accounts (if you represent or have a company) – your company name, address, and tax identification number or EU VAT number.

Your data is completely safe. We use it only to issue invoices and contact you. Useme also complies with the GDPR. You can learn more in our Privacy policy.

How to create your account step by step

Follow these steps to create your Useme account and activate your employer profile:

  1. Click “Log in” in the top right corner of the page, then select “Create account” at the bottom.
  2. Enter your email address and password. Read our Terms and conditions and Privacy policy, and accept them.
  3. Check your email. We’ll send you an activation link. Click the link to confirm your email address and return to the login page.
  4. Click “Select” under the Employer profile option.
  5. Answer a few quick questions so we can adjust our communication and support to your needs.
  6. Fill in your employer profile with your personal or company details. Just follow the instructions on the screen.

That’s it! You now have access to your Useme dashboard.
