### Service fee

When you pay a freelancer through Useme, we send you an invoice for their work. This invoice includes a percentage-based fee. It lets us handle [formalities, security and compliance](https://help.useme.com/en/useme-for-employers?hsLang=en#:~:text=Flexible%20invoice%2Dbased%20collaboration%20instead%20of%20long%2Dterm%20hiring) for every deal with your contractor.

For regular users, the service fee is 4.99%\* of the invoice amount and has a set range:

- at least $5 per invoice,
- up to $69 per invoice.

The upper limit stops the fee from growing endlessly. This matters most for high-value jobs.

\* This fee is for invoices in EUR, USD, and GBP. For PLN invoices, it's 9.8%, ranging from 19 to 249 PLN.

### Other fees

- Documents sent by mail: 20 EUR/USD/GBP

- Operational fee that may apply to fast online payments. The amount depends on the invoice's country and currency. You'll see it before paying the invoice. (This fee covers general costs related to handling and completing deals, including technical and settlement infrastructure).
