How to delete my account
If you’ve never settled a deal on Useme, you can delete your account.
If you’ve settled at least one deal, you can deactivate your account instead.
Deleting your account
- Log in to Useme.
- Go to Settings → General.
- In the Delete account section, click “Delete”.
- Select a reason for deleting your account.
- Confirm.
Deactivating your account
- Log in to Useme.
- Go to Settings → General.
- In the Deactivate account section, and click “Contact us”.
- You’ll be redirected to the contact form. Let us know you want to deactivate your account.
Why can I deactivate my account but not delete it?
We’re required to store data for tax and social security purposes for 10 years under financial recordkeeping regulations. Your Useme account will be inactive. We’ll remove your username and any other information unrelated to completed deals.
