What if I changed my mind about licensing or transferring copyrights?

We can still update your choice if you haven’t received the payout yet.

1. Contact us.
2. Include the deal number (you’ll find it in the Deals section).
3. Let us know if you want to grant a license, transfer the copyright or do neither.

We’ll make the change if possible – some types of work can’t be licensed or transferred. If that’s the case, we’ll let you know.

How to download a license or copyright transfer document

After the client pays for the deal, we’ll generate a document confirming the license or copyright transfer.

To download it:

1. Log in to Useme.
2. Go to Deals.
3. Open the relevant deal and go to the Documents section where you’ll find it.

I can’t access the license or copyright transfer document

There are a few possible reasons:

• Not every type of work qualifies for copyright transfer. If the work doesn’t meet the criteria, we’ll remove the option during verification.
• The email may have landed in your spam folder.
• There may have been a technical issue.
