The client didn’t accept my work

If your client doesn’t accept your work, don’t worry. You can message the client and agree on the necessary corrections. We can also step in if the situation isn’t clear. Read on to learn more.

Your client can reject your files if they believe the work doesn’t match the details agreed in the deal made on Useme. To review the deal with rejected files, log in to your account and go to Deals → Disputed deals from the left-hand menu.

If the client hasn’t contacted you yet, send them a message to ask why they rejected the work files. Open the deal and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the “Send a message to the client” button. You can also go to Messages in the left-hand menu and search for the client by name.

If possible, make the corrections your client asked for and upload the files again. To do this, open the deal, go to the Documents tab, and click “Upload your work.” The client will then have 7 days to review the updated files.
