What should I add to Portfolio, CV, and About Me sections?

In Useme, you can showcase all your professional experience by creating a portfolio, completing your experiences in the CV/Résumé section, and briefly introducing yourself in the About Me section.

You can find all these elements in Freelancer → Settings → Freelancer.

Add files of the work you have done. Upload the file, name it, and briefly describe it. Here you can also include the name of the company that commissioned the work and the creative process or solutions used. If your project is online, you can also paste the link to it.

You can upload files in any format. The maximum file size is 10 MB.

How to change the order of works in the portfolio

You can change the order of presentation of works in the portfolio. To do that, click on Edit the order of work samples in your portfolio.

Clicking on the link will take you to the list of uploaded files. Use drag-and-drop to move them.

2. How to complete the CV/Résumé section

Your Useme CV is not different from a regular one. Describe your work experience - it can be a full-time job or cooperation with a regular client.

To complete your CV, go to Freelancer → Account Settings → Freelancer and the resume tab.

Specify the time range of cooperation, the company's name, and your position there. Make sure to describe the responsibilities and projects you were responsible for.

3. How to complete the About Me section

The About Me section allows you to introduce yourself to potential clients and complete information that doesn’t go to the portfolio. In this section, you can describe the following:

  • your education,
  • completed courses,
  • certificates you have earned,
  • soft skills you have that are not listed in the skills tag,
  • industries and niches you specialize in,
  • and other information that will complement your image as a professional.
