Is it necessary to complete my portfolio and CV?
You must complete at least two sections to be eligible for jobs on Useme Jobs: About me and either Portfolio or CV. Check out more details about adding offers for jobs.
Additionally, you can share your profile link with clients who don’t have a Useme account and invite them to complete their transactions on our platform. Your profile is visible to everyone, regardless of whether they have an account with us or not. Therefore, you can treat it as your professional online space, where your portfolio, CV, and offers are presented in one organized place.
You can even get inspired by the example freelancer profile we created.

How to complete the portfolio
Hover over your avatar, go to Settings → Freelancer, and click “Edit portfolio.” To start, click “Add a new position.” You can add up to 10 projects to your portfolio.
In the portfolio, you present your previous work—either all or selected projects, in whole or as highlights. Each portfolio entry can include a title, link, file, and description.
Mention the company that ordered the work and the creative process (such as research). If the project is publicly available, like a published article, you can include a direct link. You can upload a file in any format, up to 10 MB.
You can rearrange portfolio items in any order you like. To modify the order, click “Edit the order of work sample in your portfolio” and drag and drop items.
How to complete the CV / Résumé
To add an entry to your CV, hover over your avatar, go to Settings → Freelancer, and click “Edit experience.” It’s where you outline your work experience gained through employment or freelance collaborations with clients.
Include the timeline, company name, position, and a detailed description of your responsibilities and projects—similar to a traditional PDF résumé.
Don’t upload a file with your CV to prevent disclosing sensitive personal data.
How to complete the About me section
Clients see your About me section when they visit your profile or browse the freelancer database (see how it looks). This description often makes the first impression on potential clients. To edit it, go to Settings → General and scroll down the page.
Use this section to add information such as:
- education,
- courses,
- certificates,
- soft skills,
- industries or niches you specialize in,
- types of projects that interest you,
- languages you speak,
- additional details that complete your professional image.
