Useme is open to freelancers from most countries, both individuals and businesses. However, some cases require you to send us specific documents to use the platform for client transactions. Read on to find out.

Supported countries
You can settle deals with your clients either as an individual (you don’t represent or have a company) or as a company in one of around 170 countries around the world. Your country/region of residence (for individuals) or company registration (for companies) can’t be on the list below due to the financial sanctions.
Sanctioned countries:
Afghanistan, Belarus, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Guinea, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, North Korea, Cuba, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar (formerly Burma), Nicaragua, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, and regions of Ukraine (Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Crimea).
Polish citizens
This section refers to Polish citizens who live and pay taxes abroad (their tax residence is in another country).
When creating an account, you’ll need to provide your tax identification number from your country of tax residence. We won’t deduct income tax from payments received through Useme.
We’ll also need proof of your current address, such as a utility bill or residence certificate. Send it to info@useme.com.

Foreigners living in Poland
This section refers to non-Polish citizens who live and pay taxes in Poland.
- Citizens of EU countries
You don’t need a work permit to settle deals through Useme. When creating an account on Useme, we’ll ask you to provide your Polish address and a PESEL number. We’ll use them to pay income tax on your behalf to your local tax office in Poland.
- Citizens of non-EU countries
You can settle deals through Useme if you have and send us one of the following documents:
- Residence card with the annotation “Access to the labour market”,
- Poland. Business Harbour” visa / visa D 21 (humanitarian visa),
- PESEL UKR number,
- Residence registration certificate (for the British),
- Pole's Card,
- ID or diploma from a Polish university,
- Marriage certificate (for spouses of Polish citizens),
- Refugee status.

Underage freelancers
You can settle deals through Useme if you’re under 18, on condition that you send us your parent or legal guardian’s consent. The document should contain the full names of you and your parent/legal guardian, the date, the place, and our company name: Useme sp. z o.o. You can use the template at the bottom of this article.
