How do I edit data on the deposit request and an invoice?

We issue an invoice for the client only after they pay the deposit. The deposit request contains all the details that will be on the invoice.

How to change the client's email address

If your client is not registered in Useme, message us via a contact form and let us know what email you want to replace and with what. If the client has an active account, only they can change their email address.

How to edit and change data on the deposit request

We can only correct data on unpaid deposit requests. If the client hasn't paid yet, message us via a contact form to change the following details:

  • the client's name and address,
  • job name/deal title,
  • job description,
  • deal value,
  • currency,
  • project's deadline,
  • payment date,
  • copyright transfer.

Useme Tip: Your client can log into their account with the email address you put on the deposit request. From their dashboard, they can change the data on the deposit request themselves. For the deposit request, those changes won't be visible. But they will be reflected on the tax invoice.

Useme Tip: If the deposit request expires, but the client paid within 30 days, the deal will open automatically. If the client wants to pay after 30 days after the deadline has passed, please get in touch with us via a contact form and let us know the actual deadline.

How to edit and change data on an invoice

If the deposit is paid and we issued the tax invoice, we can only change data with the corrective invoice or corrective note. The corrective invoice needs to be issued by the client and sent to us. This way, you can correct the following:

  • recipient's name
  • service name
  • date of sale

We can issue the corrective invoice, but first, we need to contact the client. This way, you can:

  • lower invoice value.

How to change a deposit or a tax invoice's value

Change the deposit value.

If you got the deposit request but decided on a different price during work, message us via a contact form. We need confirmation from both sides to set the new price. After we get confirmation messages from you and the client, we will change the price.

Change the invoice value

A tax invoice is generated automatically after your client pays the deposit, and we book it on our account. Its value is the same as the value of the deposit.

A tax invoice is an accounting document, and its modification is more complicated. Contact us at via a contact form. We will:

  • prepare a corrective invoice if you want to lower the price of the invoice,
  • issue a new invoice for the additional amount if you want to increase the price.
