Employer’s email – common questions
Can a freelancer change their client’s email?
Yes, a freelancer can contact us and ask to change their client’s email address. We’ll check if we can update it right away.
If not, we’ll need a screenshot of an email from the client confirming the change. The screenshot must include:
- the sender’s and recipient’s email addresses
- the new email address
- a clear statement from the client that they want Useme to send invoices to their new email address from now on
You can send the screenshot to info@useme.com.
Can several people from one company have separate employer accounts?
Yes. You can have multiple client accounts with different email addresses but the same tax ID.
For example, if three people in one company work with freelancers through Useme, each of them can have their own account. Each account can have a different email address, but the company details remain the same.
This way, each person can manage their deals independently.
Can I add another email address for invoices?
Unfortunately no. We always send invoices to one email address only. This helps us protect personal and financial data and stay compliant with regulations.
However, a freelancer can download any invoice from their dashboard and send it to any email address.
To find the invoice:
- Log in to Useme.
- Go to Deals → Sent deposit requests.
- Open the selected deal and go to the Documents tab. You’ll find there:
-
- the deposit request – after we verify the deal
- the final invoice – after we receive the client’s payment
