I got an email that the employer paid for the deal but I don't have money in my account

There might be a few different reasons why you didn’t get your money yet:

Not enough time passed

We try to process payments as quickly as possible, but it might take longer on weekends and public holidays. You also need to remember that your bank might need extra time to process the payment. Give it at least 3 days.

You didn’t upload the job to our service

Click on the link in the “We have accepted the contract” or “You have 48 hours to upload your finished work” emails or directly through your Useme account. Go to Dashboard → Deals → specific deal and click Send as complete work button.

You didn’t mark your work as a complete version

When uploading work to Useme, you can mark it as a sample or a complete version. We need the final version to process the payment.

You didn’t upload a scan or photo of a signed copyright transfer protocol

This only applies if you choose the protocol as your copyright transfer method. If you did, you got an email “Copyright transfer protocol for … contract” with a link to download the protocol and upload it to our service. You can also upload it directly to your Useme account from Dashboard → Deals → specific deal.

The client didn’t accept the work yet

The client has to accept your work by clicking the link within 7 days from when you upload your work to our service. If they don’t accept or dispute it within this time, the work will get automatically accepted.

We need your bank account number

Check your email. Our administrators might have contacted you about the missing bank account number.

You didn’t upload an invoice or a bill if you are a freelancer with your own business

If you have a business, you must upload a bill or invoice to Useme. We informed you about this in a separate email. Here you can learn more about what to do if you have your own business.
