How long is my deal verified?

We verify each transaction on Useme to protect both sides of the deal. Check how you can help us make this process as fast as possible.

We have two types of deal verification:

  • automatic – doesn’t include Customer Service,
  • manual – handled by our Customer Service.

After you fill out an invoicing form, it undergoes daily automatic verification. If it passes, we proceed to the next step – sending a deposit request to your client.

If your contract doesn’t meet the criteria for automatic verification, our Customer Service team will review it. We work from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (UTC+2). If you invoice a client after 5 p.m. and it requires manual verification, it will usually be checked by 5 p.m. the following workday.

If the verification process takes longer, check your email inbox. We may ask to clarify issues like the deal’s subject or request additional documents.

How to speed up contract verification

You can contribute to a smooth verification process by keeping these tips in mind:

  • Title – make sure it refers directly to your work, e.g., a logo design for…
  • File – your work file(s) must contain the entire work or confirm it’s completed, e.g., a screenshot confirming work completion, a part or several parts of the work, a time sheet, or a report confirming work.
  • Copyright setting – choose the right option (copyright transfer, license, or none). Check how they differ.
