You get paid after each successful transaction with a client. Below, we explain what you can do to make sure the payment comes as quickly as possible.
At Useme, we don’t make you accumulate a certain amount of money. You get each payment individually, usually within 24 hours after the deal is finished (we explain when exactly below). However, the transfer depends heavily on your bank.

Will I get paid immediately after uploading my work files?
No, it needs a bit more time. We send payments after the deal is finished, usually within 24 hours. What does a finished deal mean?
The Invoice a client form
- You complete the work.
- You upload the work files to Useme and fill out the invoicing form.
- We verify the information you provided.
- We send a deposit request to your client and collect their payment.
- (Optional, if you represent a company) You upload your invoice to Useme.
- Your deal is finished – we send you the payment.

Settling a deal from Useme Jobs
- The client accepts your offer for the job.
- We send a deposit request to your client and collect their payment.
- You complete the work and upload the final work files to Useme.
- The client has 7 days to review and accept or reject your work. If they request corrections, your payment may come later.
- The client accepts your work immediately or after your corrections.
- (Optional, if you represent a company) You upload your invoice to Useme.
- Your deal is finished – we send you the payment.

How we process payments
We send payments to freelancers on business days (Monday to Friday) twice – at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. (UTC+2). We use ING Bank for PLN transfers. If you pay taxes in Poland, we’ll deduct an income tax before sending you the payment.
We use payment gateways (PayPal, Wise, Payoneer) for other currencies.

Express transfers
You can request an express transfer if your bank allows it. Contact us as soon as you get an email from Useme confirming we have received payment from your client. Call us at +48 717 232 234 or message us (write “EXPRESS TRANSFER” in the subject line).
We can make an express transfer on a business day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (UTC+2), only after your deal is finished. It comes with an additional service fee:
- Express transfer in EUR/USD/GBP – a fee of 10 EUR/USD/GBP; the speed depends on your bank.
- Express transfer in PLN – with a fee of 20 PLN; comes to your account immediately.
Add a payout method to get paid
You can’t receive your payment without setting up a payout method. It’s best to do this right after creating your account on Useme.
You can set up or change your payout method in profile settings. Log in, hover over your avatar in the top-right corner, and go to Settings → Payouts. You’ll see four currency options: PLN, EUR, GBP, and USD. You can settle deals with clients using any of these currencies if you set up a payout method for it.
Click “Set up” next to the currency of your choice. You can have one method per currency. To select a different method, delete the one already added.

PayPal – problems with accessing your funds
Unfortunately, we have no control over when PayPal releases your payment. These delays are caused by PayPal’s internal security processes.
We’ll try to help you get access to your money faster. Here’s what you can do:
- Message us and describe your case so we can verify your transfer thoroughly. Sometimes, we’re able to confirm your work in PayPal and unlock the money faster. However, it’s entirely up to PayPal.
- Download the confirmation of the contract from your Useme account (Dashboard → Deals → relevant deal → Documents → Confirmation) or message us, and we’ll send it to you. Send the document to PayPal to prove that the contract has been concluded and executed in accordance with the client’s order.
- Return the PayPal transfer to Useme so we can use another payment gateway. However, PayPal will charge a service fee for the refund, which will reduce your payment amount.
