To transfer copyrights with a contract settled by Useme, you have two options:
- using a license
- using a copyright protocol
License
When you grant a license, the client has the right to use your work for a period of 15 years. We don’t need any additional documents from you.
To do that, select License using the “Invoice the client” path.
How to transfer copyright by protocol?
When you transfer the copyright with protocol, it will be passed to the client indefinitely. Remember, when choosing this option, you must print, fill in, and scan additional documents.
Where will you find the protocol documents?
After you choose the protocol, we will email you the link to download the protocol document. It’s also available in your profile. Go to your Dashboard -> Deals -> relevant contract.
Where will you upload the documents?
Download the documents, print them, fill in, and scan them. Then upload them to the deal by going to Dashboard -> Deals -> relevant deal -> documents.
