Global invoicing

The Invoice a client feature lets you issue invoices to clients from around 170 countries. You don’t need a registered company to invoice – your only job here is to fill out the form with work details and client data. Based on that, we draft the invoice and email it to your client on your behalf.

Use the Invoice a client form once you’ve completed the work and your client has approved it. Here’s what it looks like step by step:

1. Create an account.
2. Follow with the form, filling in your client and work details.
3. Upload work files to Useme (Learn more about work files.)
4. We send a deposit request to your client, and once they pay, we send you the money and a final invoice to them.

Legal and compliant transactions with foreign clients

Useme invoices your clients on your behalf, so we (not you) are responsible for making the cross-border transaction consistent with your and your client’s local regulations. Payment collection in your chosen currency

Your client doesn’t pay directly to your account. They send the money to us, and then we pass it on to you. Thanks to that, your cross-border transaction is quick, secure, and legal. Before we send you the money, you need to choose the currency you want to get it in. Here’s how currencies work on Useme.

Get paid promptly - and protect your work

Your client won’t get your files and the invoice until we receive their payment. We email them about the payment deadline and remind them to transfer the money on time. Most payouts reach freelancers’ accounts within 24 hours after the client transfer.

Portfolio builder

In your profile settings you’ll find the About me, CV / Résumé, and Portfolio sections. Once you fill them out, they’ll be visible to all the clients with Useme accounts and any other person with the link to your Useme profile. So you can build your online portfolio from scratch here and then share it with clients you want to work with (and invoice through Useme as a result).

Clients signed up to Useme can browse freelancer profiles and invite chosen specialists for their projects. An outstanding portfolio and CV will help you draw their attention.

Freelance job search

Useme’s primary feature is to invoice the clients you already have, but that’s not all. If you don’t have a client or your current clients aren’t outsourcing anything to you right now, visit Useme Jobs.
